Collaboration is key in the effort to eradicate violent crimes against women and children in Miami Dade County. We are thankful for the dedicated special victim’s team that carry this heavy task on a daily basis. Special thanks to Sherri Britton-Susino of FIU’s Empowerment Center for collaborating in this training.

Research drives our work to ensure our services are underpinned by science and remain survivor informed. Dr. Danay Rodriguez-Arritola leads the National Association of Hispanic Nurses as President Elect. She is also committed to ensuring nurses have the resources they need to care for survivors in our community.
